Read the New Testament in 2018

Introduction

One of the keys to living for God successfully is to spend time in His Word. I challenge you to read the entire New Testament in 2018. Not only read it but also write something about what you read every day!

WHY?

Because It Will Nourish You Spiritually

Matthew 4:4

But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.’”

Because It Is Life

John 6:63

It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life.

Because It Will Equip You For Every Good Work

II Timothy 3:16-17

All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.

Because You Live Under the New Testament

Galatians 3:23-27

But before faith came, we were kept in custody under the law, being shut up to the faith which was later to be revealed. Therefore the Law has become our tutor to lead us to Christ, so that we may be justified by faith. But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor. For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.
